Taz misses AEW Dynamite | Cultaholic wrestling

Taz was absent from the May 8 broadcast of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite, with the color commentator absent due to health issues.

The ECW legend has been dealing with knee issues and recently underwent treatment on one knee and will undergo a procedure on the other knee this week, which will keep him from flying to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for the May 8 show.

Take to X/Twitterthe ‘Human Suplex Machine’ wrote the following before the show:

“Unfortunately I won’t be at Dynamite tonight. This week I had treatment on my knee and a procedure on the other knee. Flying/traveling is simply not possible, I will be back next week. Tonight’s show is going to be great! Make sure you watch LIVE tonight! #AEWDynamite @TBSNetwork @AEW,” Taz posted.

The Excalibur announcing team and Tony Schiavone referred to Dynamite as a two-person announcing booth.

Taz recently revealed that he has been told he needs to have both knees and shoulders replaced, with the former ECW World Champion noting that his joint problems were caused by training too hard in the gym, and not from taking bumps during his wrestling career.
