Magic Round 2024, match-ups, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

The NRL Magic Round returns to Brisbane in 2024, with eight Telstra Premiership matches lighting up Suncorp Stadium for a football festival like no other.

This weekend, another 16 NRL teams will descend on the home of rugby league in Queensland for an action-packed weekend of football, which will see a host of crucial matches take place during Round 11.

History of the Magic Round

Magic Round is a concept unique to rugby league that started in Super League in 2007 when all twelve teams played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

In 2019, the NRL Magic Round weekend was introduced with support from the Queensland Government, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing.

Total attendance for the 2019 Magic Round was 134,677 over four days and after being canceled in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the weekend has gone from strength to strength over the past three years, with almost 150,000 fans attending over three days . 2023.
