Take your gear to Boise for the Mountain West Tournament

RENO, Nevada – Nevada softball (38-15, 14-8 MW), travels to Boise, Idaho for the Mountain West Championship, May 9-11, hosted by Boise State University. The tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

The Pack received the No. 3 seed in the six-team postseason tournament. The Pack will face No. 6 Colorado State (26-20, 9-12 MW) in the first game of the tournament, Thursday, May 9, with first pitch at 10 a.m. MT. The winner of the play-in game will advance for a spot in the double-elimination portion of the tournament. If the Pack secures the victory, they will face No. 2 UNLV on Thursday at 4:00 PM MT.

On Wednesday, Gabby Herrera was named MW Co-Player of the Year and All-Mountain West first team. Nevada had five other players named to the All-Mountain West teams, with three being honored on the first team and three on the second team. Besides Herrera, Chelie Senini advertisement Aaliyah Jenkins were named to the first team. Blake Craft, Bridgette GillianoAnd Haley Painter all named after the second team.
