Jo Overview:
We are on a hunt for an Accounting Officer to play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of our company!
Job Role:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures.
- Manage customer billing and collections.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with min. GPA of 3.00/4.00 from a reputable university. Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on finance/accounting is advantageous.
- Min. 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the retail industry.
- Experience with inventory management and retail-specific financial challenges is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of retail industry dynamics.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
